Created 2004.01.24 - the 20th Anniversary of the Macintosh

I started writing Technical Difficulties for DV Magazine in the Spring of 2000. Tech Diffs covers various aspects of video technology and technique not found in the manuals or the specsheets.

For a while, the magazine's website kept back issues online, but as time has gone by they've purged older content. Worse, they've told archivists like archive.org not to keep old dv.com content accessible!
